Goodnight Son

After a busy day that involved many new experiences, including seeing elephants, warthogs, birds and ended with a run around the camp until he was as near as tired as he will ever get, we fed the little man.

For these "away-from-home" occasions, daddy got a camping cot, complete with changer, which came in handy. In the back the collapsible eating chair and yes the red racer also came along, including a smaller ball underneath. We did not know what really to expect, so we had to cover a few angles. He did not really play with any of them for much more than 15 minutes at night, due to all the activity during the day.

1-DSC_0253Bath time also ended up a new experience with old tools, the baby bath was used once more in the shower. Boeta had one last wave goodbye for all of you.

2-DSC_0262After that the little man slept fairly quickly and we had some time for ourselves, ok, we went to bed and slept too. Tiring all the fresh air and hunting for animals plus having a toddler in the mix, we are not spring chickens you know.

Additional bit from today:

I took a little time to try to video the little man dancing to Afrikaans music today. He started dancing to music from an early age, so just for fun, Boeta "live"!
